Chapter 7: Not Your Fault "Will! Will, wake up! Please!" Hannibal was shaking him, shouting at him, smacking his face. Anything to make him come around. The doctor had never felt this panicked in his adult life. He wasn't behaving like a professional at all, and he didn't care. His whole world had stopped. Everything was frozen in time waiting for Will to make it turn again. What have they done to you, my sweet William? Right now he was regretting his previous decision to postpone a thorough investigation of Will's abuse. He should have been finding out his condition to see how badly and how deep his psychosis ran. But he had been greedy.

I, an online short story creator and wannabe author, am not an expert on writing. Publishing agencies remain tantalizingly out of my reach, critiques on any piece of writing make me skip in circles, and readership is a number best not contemplated. However, I have some advice to give. Advice that hopefully can change the world of at least one young writer. Advice on arguably the most captivating of all plot devises; characters. Reading through some of the works on DA, and through some of the works I am asked to edit in real life, I have come across several very common problems with characters. Why these issues are so prevalent, I don't know,
